Why Force India’s fate rests with Kingfisher Airlines

When Force India was formed in 2007, the old Spykar team got a lease of life from the flamboyant Indian billionaire Vijay Mallya.

Vettel wins the inaugural Indian GP

Sebastian Vettel has won the inaugural Indian GP. The youngest champ flew off at the start dodging his team mate Mark Webber who lost 2 places to finish a disappointing 4th.

Jenson Button came home 2nd followed by a very nicely framed race by Fernando Alonso in 3rd.

F-one – Korean GP Report : RBR wins title, Seb wins the race

Red Bull Racing have won the constructors title thanks to an awesome performance by their duo – Seb and Web

Sebastian Vettel won the race with such ease as if the others were racing in GP2 cars. Lewis Hamilton finished a deserved second with Mark Webber finishing third.

After the 5 lights went off, Seb shot off like a cannon ball. He overtook Hamilton in the first lap, another evidence of RBR’s superiority over Mclarens.

Force India gets a new co owner : Sahara!!

Force India has a new co-owner in Sahara India with immediate effect. Sahara will own 42.5% of Force India and Vijay Mallya the remaining 42.5% of his initial 85% ownership.

The new team name will be called “Sahara Force India”. The deal has been valued at $100 million for the 42.5% stake thus valuing the mid pack team at upwards of $2oo million.
