Once upon a time there were oceans, mountains, flora, fauna, humans and finally Royal Enfield.

One of the few things which have stood the test of time to the extent that cockroaches wonder who will go extinct first.  Royal Enfield (RE) lately have been working their way up the old motorbikes which they used to make.

The new world : RE has certainly carved a niche for themselves in a market full of Rat and Superbikes. They command a presence like none other and its important to state that they are catering to an entirely different segment than the Harleys and Triumphs.

The Chrome story : When the Classic was launched, a new era definitely started. The design is old school ; the tech is certainly new school. But as RE has been doing since years,  the export and local model lineups were kept different claiming the demand (taste) of Indian consumers was not so inclined towards experimental/specialized editions.
Now though, a new feather has been added out our domestic lineup of Enfields.

The new Classic Chrome : Lets stick to the name  - Its all chrome and it looks bloody awesome. The paint job nicely compliments the chrome and makes a good balance for the eyes and envy for others! Do note the tyre sizes have been tweaked too and the front is now a 19′ and rear 18′ (Wide smiles on faces which hated the small 17′ on Classic)

Engine and transmission : has been directly carried over from the Classic lineup.
Though the Chrome is available only with a 500 cc engine which now develops a little more power of 27.2 bhp and 4.2kgm of torque.

Appeal : Take some bold appeal in a bowl. Spice it up and put it in a microwave oven for 3 minutes. Take it out and feast over what is now called “Chrome appeal”

Bottomline : Wait no matter how much you have to (minimum 6 month waiting for delivery). For just 3k more, you get bling!!
